The residential treatment programs are gender specific and  located in separate buildings in downtown Atlantic City. The programs are 3-6 months in length depending on the client’s progress. We provide individual, group and family counseling, educational sessions and individualized discharge planning. All of the clients are given a complete physical upon admission which includes screening for HIV as well as Hep-C. Clients who test positive receive follow-up counseling with our medical case managers and nursing staff. Clinets with a history of mental health issues, show signs or report symptoms are evaulated by our Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse. Clients are able to access Medication assisted treatment MAT) that includes; Methadone, Suboxone and Vivitrol.

The Male Unit houses 90 clients and is located at 1315 Pacific Avenue, the Women's Unit houses 29 clients and is located at 20 South Tennesee Avenue.

Who Is Eligible?

• Men and Women 18 years of age and over with a substance abuse problem

• Must be a resident of New Jersey and have a Social Security number.

This service is free to low to moderate income, NJ residents.
